I am looking for software to record a demo for my solo / acoustic act?

I have a solo guitar / vocal act that I need to make a demo for. I have a compete sound system, so all I need is a means to record my guitar and vocals (to submit to club owners) to get me gigs. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive sofware pakage that I can purchase online to achieve this?

depends How Much you want to sped and what features you want. Top end of the market would be something like Cubase of sonar 6, but expect to pay big bucks for these.
