Does anybody know a good place to learn how to scratch? (please answer)?

I really want to learn to be a scratch artist but i cant find anywhere to learn. the videos i have found dont help me at all. I have the numark idj2 and i know its not good for scratching but i would like to start practicing. I have the numark ns7 but it hasnt arrived yet. so if Anyone Can help that would be great thanx in advance

If you are looking for an intermediate tutorial video, DJ Qbert’s Do-It Yourself Vol. 1 is a good place to start (don’t bother with Vol. 2). It will show you simple techniques to help you develop your skills. Learning simple techniques and using them in combos is a good way to start. It will just take hours of practice to improve. NS7 is nice and Serato Itch is okay. But I’ve found Virtual DJ to be more responsive when scratching. You Can download a fully functional trial of VDJ. I know some people have had problems with VDJ, but it works well for me.
