Does anyone know of a good Medical transcription school/course?

I’m thinking of taking a medical transcription course but I’m worried about taking one that either isn’t legit or that isn’t in depth enough to later land me a job. Also if anyone knows an estimate on the time it takes to complete the course. I’m living in Idaho, US. Any school in state will be a good suggestion. Online would be great also.

Career Step is one of the top Online Schools for Medical Transcription training. It takes about 6 months to a year to complete. Since it is self paced, it depends on How Much time you devote to it. Full time will take you about 6 months, possibly 4 months. Part time will be about a year. They are AHDI accredited and they are registered with the Better Business Bureau. They are a legit school. Otherwise you can look at your local community college to see if they offer any medical transcription classes.
