Tips for self-teaching guitar?
I started playing guitar about 8 months ago. I am completely self-taught. I know 20-30 chords, power chords, and barre chords, I can read tabs, and I can write a few simple riffs from scales. But, I’m planning on becoming a solo artist, so I’d like to take it to the next level, like alternate tunings, finger picking, arpeggios, and ways to write more complex riffs and solos. Does anybody have any tips or websites I can use for things like that?

learn to play the same songs/scales/whatever in different tunings
play with other people–even if you want to be primarily a solo act it is extremely beneficial to play with others
