Online masters degress with alternative admissions criteria?
What are some solid programs (online) with alternative admissions criteria for adults?
I’m looking for *accredited* programs **OTHER** than the usual online programs like Strayer, Arcadia, DeVry, etc.
Anyone received a masters degee via online study?
By alternative admissions criteria, I mean ones that will look at your overall history and resume– and not just your undergraduate GPA.
It will vary. There are a lot of brick and mortar schools that are now offering distance or online programs to students. It depends on what you want to study. Check out U.S. News and ready their past articles on education You Can find some information there. I am waiting to hear about an online program from CSU Bakersfield. They currently have 3 fully online program options. Look around and do searches for them. Try different State univeristy systems. I would suggest looking at the Cal State Uni. system website, they have a listing of the schools in the system and a fairly accurate listing of which campuses offer distance courses.
Also look at the U. of Maryland University College. Whatever you decide, just make sure that the program and school is an accredited institution and not a diploma mill after your money. Look at the US dept of Education for their list of accrediting bodies.
